Who we are and what this policy covers

In this policy "we" and "us" mean Roof Home Experts, the service that runs this site and its quote request forms. The policy applies to this website, its quote request forms, and the pages and advertisements that link to it.

We help homeowners request quotes from local home improvement companies. When you submit a request, we check whether a roofing company serving your area handles your kind of project and, if so, we pass your request to that company. We do not perform, supervise, price, or guarantee any work. Any estimate, agreement, or project is between you and the company you choose to work with.

Information we collect

What we collect depends on how you use the site. It falls into these groups:

Property and project answers you enter: whether you own the home, the kind of project, its size or scope, the status of any plans, timing, and anything else you type into the form.

We collect information directly from you when you fill out a form or contact us, automatically through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies, from the advertising platforms that referred you, from service providers that help us run the site, and from matched companies that report back on your request.

How we use it

We use the information we collect to:

Receive and process your quote request, including checking whether your area and project fit an available company.
Pass your request to the matched company so it can contact you.
Keep a record that you agreed to be contacted, including the consent language you saw.
Detect fraud, spam, duplicate requests, and misuse of the site.
Measure whether our advertising led to a request and improve our forms and pages.
Track whether matched companies respond to requests and calculate what those companies pay us.

Who we share it with

We share information only in these ways:

With the matched company. When you submit a request, your contact details, property information, and project answers go to the company named or described in the consent language shown with the form. That company may contact you directly and handles your information under its own privacy practices. Companies may compensate us for advertising, matching, and referral services.
With service providers that host the site, store and route requests, send email and text messages, measure advertising, prevent fraud, or provide analytics, under agreements that limit their use of the information.
With professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants when reasonably necessary.
When required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of anyone, or to enforce our agreements.
As part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
When you direct us to, or otherwise give us permission.

Sale and sharing of personal information

We do not sell your information to data brokers. Passing your request to a matched company that compensates us, and letting advertising platforms measure our ads, may count as a sale or as sharing under some state privacy laws even though you asked for the connection. Where the law gives you the right to opt out of that, you can do so through the Your Privacy Choices page. A general opt-out may not stop the delivery of a specific request you have already submitted and asked us to pass along.

Cookies, analytics, and advertising

Where configured, we use analytics and advertising tools from providers such as Meta, TikTok, and Google. These tools may set cookies and collect identifiers, device information, and activity on the site to measure whether an advertisement led to a request, avoid counting the same request twice, and show relevant advertising. Calls, texts, and email

When you submit a request, you agree to the consent language shown beneath the button. It allows us and the matched company to contact you about your project by phone, text message, or email, including through automated technology and prerecorded messages. Agreeing is not a condition of buying anything. Message and data rates may apply. To stop text messages, reply STOP to any message. For help, reply HELP. To stop calls or emails, tell the caller or sender, or contact us through the Your Privacy Choices page. Once a company has your request, its own communication practices also apply.

Your privacy rights

If you live in California, you have the right to know what personal information we have collected about you and how we use and share it, to request a copy of it, to ask us to correct or delete it, to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, and not to be treated differently for exercising these rights. We keep quote request information for as long as needed to deliver and support the request, resolve disputes, and meet legal and accounting obligations. We keep consent records and opt-out requests for as long as the law requires so we can show that you agreed to be contacted and honor your choices. After that, we delete or de-identify the information.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

Children

This site is for adults requesting quotes for a home they own or are authorized to speak for. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Estimates and prices

Any estimate, price, availability, or timeline comes from the roofing company you are matched with, not from us. We do not set or guarantee it, and it may change after the company sees your home.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest revision. Material changes will be posted on this page.
